What is ideal weight?
It is the weight value that is proportional to height in order to maintain a healthy life. Scientific studies have shown that even 1 kg of weight loss extends human life by 3 or 4 months. In the Body Mass Index (BMI) table shown below, the area where the intersection of weight in kilograms and neck in meters is located indicates whether the relevant weight is ideal. If the current weight is below or above the ideal, the way to reach this weight is not to lose weight or gain weight in a short time, but to reach this weight in a healthy way and to maintain this level in the long term.
